I purchased a Crosstrek from Subaru by the Bay recently and I found it to be an easy and enjoyable experience. The salespeople were knowledgeable, friendly, understanding of my needs and questions, and great to talk to. Carolyn helped me every step of the way and I found her to be a great person to talk to. I didn't feel as though she was pressuring me to buy something I didn't want or need, but simply giving me the facts on the vehicle and letting me come to my own conclusion. I generally find car salespeople to be off putting, but she was a delight. The owner of the dealership was nice too. Subaru's are great cars and this is a well run business that I recommend checking out when you need a new car.

Stole my shift lock cover (said it was never there) and left a section of my windshield slathered in black grease. The employees were kind but I wasn't happy with the cleanup they didn't do.

About a year ago I was in the market to purchase a brand new Subaru, I immediately contacted Subaru by the bay with exactly what I was looking for and the sales manager called me immediately. She informed me they did not have exactly what I wanted in stock so she said she'd search around and call back if she found it. About a week later she emailed me a description of the car she found, she said it was in Washington but if I paid a $500 delivery fee she'd get it there. Being that I live in the upper peninsula I asked if I could pay over the phone for the $500 and do the sale and trade in of my car all in one day. I was quite frustrated when she told me no she wanted me to bring my trade in before she'd even get the car brought here (but still wanted my $500 immediately), and made it seem as if she didn't want to do my trade in at all. Then upon investigation of the car she sent me, I found it was actually in Michigan not Washington after all. After her rudeness and unwillingness to allow me a quick transaction I chose to drive the additional 3 hours downstate to the other Subaru dealer who took care of everything in 4 hours, and sold me the same vehicle for $3,500 less. Since then I have tried to schedule 2 services at Subaru by the bay and both times they have called and cancelled my appointments the day before. Maybe they're mad I took my business elsewhere, so I will continue to do so.

Awesome showroom and very friendly/knowledge staff! Highly recommend!
